THE GRIM SHADOW

Reviews

This is an amazing story. A story full of life, death, mystery, corruption and deceit. A look at life through different/innocent eyes. Full of lessons for today's times. I have read it several times and every time I am more entertained than the last. A definite must read!     B.K. Stinson

I found "The Grim Shadow" to be a unique and thoroughly entertaining novelette. It's a kind of symbolic world with distinctive parallels to our own world in its fictional events and characters. Author Carol Saunders' refreshing creativity is well demonstrated in this fable that gives the reader an awful lot to think about. I would recommend this short novel to anyone looking for something new. I am eagerly looking forward to her next novel, and for the record here I am predicting that Carol Saunders, with her well defined skills at creating and delivering  page-turning stories as evidenced in this fable, will be among the next best selling novelists of our time.     Jim Ballou

Carol Saunders is a rising star, and this fantastic debut novel presages a great future. The first edition of The Grim Shadow will be a collector's item some day, and your copy will convince your children and grandchildren that you were one of the first to recognize the talent of Carol Saunders.

The Grim Shadow is fresh and adventuresome. The characterizations are superb and the writing elegant. That IS the word."     Charles in Miami
